USM Workshops

Beginning in 2024, the FREE online (open) USM Workshops that provide an overview of the USM method will be replaced with a series of self-paced education videos (Registration Required).

Corporate workshops are still available and can be tailored to specific client requirements. Schedule a consultation to review requirements.

As a Certified USM Coach, I can also deliver the following corporate workshops that are developed and governed by the SURVUZ Foundation. These workshops are tailored to specific client requirements.

USM Awareness Workshop

The USM Awareness Workshop can be tailored in several different ways:

  • As an advisory to assist clients in deciding to deploy the USM method
  • In support of a client’s employees understanding of the USM method (i.e., orientation), which can be done during planning/preparation or after an improvement sprint (i.e., lessons learned)

WHO

This workshop is appropriate for management teams, senior staff, influencers and/or decision makers of organizations who have decided, or are considering, a USM deployment. It may also be appropriate for employees of an organization that is deploying USM.

WHAT

  • recognize and interpret customer interactions (practices) in terms of the USM method
  • improve understanding of the USM method, thinking, and USM for enterprise service management
  • establish a list of improvement initiatives for the setup and routines of the teams involved

HOW

This workshop can be delivered on-site or online, depending on client requirements. Once the workshop has been prepared, it typically takes one half day for the participants.

USM Service Agreement Workshop

The USM Service Agreement Workshop helps clients understand the impact of a lack of USM logic in their service definitions and their service agreements. This workshop could be tailored as a demonstration of the benefits of the USM approach, or (more typically) as part of an improvement sprint in a USM deployment.

 This workshop can be formatted with or without reformatting the client’s existing service agreement(s).

WHO

This workshop is appropriate for service managers responsible for setting up service agreements, relationship managers, supplier managers, finance managers involved with setting up service agreements.

WHAT

  • learn how to specify (their own) services in terms of the USM method
  • create a draft of an improved service agreement aligned to the USM specifications
  • establish a list of improvement issues that need to be covered in a USM deployment
