I’m John Worthington. I’ve spent more than 40 years in IT—initially in sales and business development, and for the past two decades focused on IT service management and the performance of end-to-end digital services. My work has always centered on one practical goal: helping organizations turn service complexity into clear ownership, reliable execution, and customer-relevant outcomes.
Over the years, I’ve earned a broad set of service management, governance, and improvement credentials, including ITIL (v2/v3/v4), PMP, CISA, CPP, XLA Master, and USM certifications. I was the first Certified USM Professional in the United States, and today I focus on coaching and enablement through MyServiceMonitor, LLC—helping teams simplify service management without discarding the frameworks and practices they’ve already invested in.
